- The St. Louis Rams have $43.5M cap dollars allocated to 8 players on their reserve/injured list, leaving a 53-man roster cap of just $79.5M, the lowest in the league.
- The loss of QB Carson Palmer brings the Cardinals IR spending to nearly $33M. Arizona now carries the 3rd lowest active roster cap, in large part to the 5th lowest starting offensive cap total.
- 11 teams have a 53-man cap total less than $100M. Of them 8 are currently on the outside of the playoffs looking in.
- The New York Giants have 16 players on the Reserve/Injured list.
- 3 of the 5 lowest starting offensive cap totals are currently in a playoff spot (Indianapolis, Cleveland, Arizona).
- The New Orleans Saints ($59.1M) have $36.8M cap dollars allocated to their starting offense than the Jacksonville Jaguars ($22.3M) have to theirs.
- The Atlanta Falcons have just $14.4M cap dollars allocated to their starting defense, $39.2M less than the Bills started against the Dolphins this past Thursday night.
