The NFL True Value Statistic

Evaluating the current worth of NFL Offensive Players & Positions

Last week Spotrac unveiled our True Value Statistic, combining the prolific Quarterback ratings from Pro Football Focus with cap figures to mathemtically determine how much "value" a player is currently performing at in 2013.

This week we take things to the next level, diving deep into each NFL offense to evaluate which teams are getting the most from their starters, and which positions appear to be performing best thus far.

The easiest (albeit cliched) explanation for the TVS involves "getting way you pay for". The following analysis will show which teams and positions are living up to their financial costs thus far.

Note: All statistical rankings were drawn from Pro Football Focus, a must use NFL website year-round.
