The NFL season is about half over, so our Spotrac team has taken the liberty of looking at the top 3 fantasy players of each position and determined their value per point thus far. We've used the ESPN Standard of scoring/list for our comparison.
Surprising to many might be, Robert Griffin III, who has taken fantasy leagues by storm, earning the most points of any offensive player in standard fantasy leagues - on a base minimum salary. Similarly, for the second straight year NYG receiver Victor Cruz stands out as the top value-buy, costing just $4,757/fantasy point. Other notable players of value include Patriots running back Stevan Ridley and Seahawks kicker, Blair Walsh.
Owners who took a chance on Adrian Peterson this year, possibly at a lower cost, are seeing major return as All-Day appears to be back into elite form for the Vikings. The same goes for Heath Miller, who probably wasn't drafted in many 10 team leagues this offseason, but has quickly once-again become the goto target for Big Ben in Pittsburgh.
