Antonio Brown (PIT)

Calculated AAV: $16,000,000

However his case here is unique, as he was previously extended 3 years ago by the Steelers at just 24 years old. His current deal has three years and nearly $23M remaining, but none of it is guaranteed. His $8.392M annual average currently ranks 14th among NFL Wrs, while he’s produced at a Top 5 level for the better part of 3 years now. At at $16M AAV valuation, Brown comes in just behind Calvin Johnson’s $16.2M.

Julio Jones (ATL)

Calculated AAV: $15,250,000

Nobody benefited more from the recent signings than Jones, who has always had the better production statistically, and simply needed the market to improve in order to maximize his cash potential. It has – and he will. The only complicated part of this deal might be the guaranteed dollars, as Jones has missed significant time in his young career due to injury. All said, Jones is now valuing as one of the highest average paid WR in the history of football, 2nd only to Megatron.

A.J. Green (CIN)

Calculated AAV:  $13,976,151

USATSI_8211486_160074578_lowresWhile Green and Jones have been linked because of their timely expiring contracts, Green has always produced a bit below Jones statistically (with the exception of TDs, where his production is near the top of the league). He’s still in for an impressive payday, but it won’t rival the value that Jones will demand. A $13.9M AAV would rank 4th among current wide receivers.
